FIETS en WANDELBEURS: the road to 2021

	Good news: the “Fiets en Wandelbeurzen” in 2021 can continue according to current guidelines! We are therefore fully engaged in the preparations for these events. Online registration has now been opened.

			Safety top priority Safety first is the motto for the 2021 edition. We take all kinds of measures to ensure the safety of exhibitors, visitors, volunteers and the organization team. The guidelines of the authorities and the regulations of Flanders Expo and Jaarbeurs Utrecht have been incorporated into a safety plan. We avoid crowds in the aisles and stands because we work with time slots for visitors. Of course: the 1.5 m distance rule applies to the entire Fair. We also have good news to report in this area: all usual stand types are possible again, and with time slots and possibly extended opening hours, we can receive the number of visitors from recent years. 	Market opportunities Cycling and hiking are in the spotlight as sustainable and safe activities. The bicycles and e-bikes were almost sold out in recent months, the demand was that great. The Dutch and Flemish went en masse on beautiful days by bicycle or on foot. The current market situation offers opportunities to collect many leads at the Fair. The time slots for visitors can also contribute to a successful participation. After all, you have more time for high-quality conversations with visitors because the activity is spread evenly throughout the day.

			Cancellation policy We will of course take into account any additional measures related to Covid-19. We have adapted the cancellation policy to eliminate the greatest risks for our exhibitors. If the Fair is canceled due to Covid-19, you will be refunded the amount already paid minus, proportionally, costs already incurred by the organization. There are also more options to adjust the stand size free of charge. This is in case if we are forced to change the design of the Fair due to new regulations. To the conditions

	Advantage for early birds Quick decision-makers benefit from a 10% early bird discount on the floor space if they register before October 1st 2020. This only concerns the bare floor space, not costs for stand construction, furniture, electricity, etc. This discount does not apply to participants in the collective pavilions. 			Collaboration with events As in previous years, we work together with events that are thematically related to the Fiets en Wandelbeurs. In Ghent these are again E-bike Challenge and Mount Expo, in Utrecht E-bike Xperience. Bike MOTION Benelux, our partner in Jaarbeurs for many years, is moving to October in 2021. In addition, we are going back in Utrecht from a three-day to a two-day Fair: Friday 19 and Saturday 20 February 2021.
