A challenging future

After a late start, the U.S. is speeding up efforts to electrify its future. The Biden administration looks at spending $400 billion over ten years in tax credits to steer consumers to electric vehicles and prodding electric utilities toward renewable energy. While this year's November elections show voters across the country approved nearly $3.6 billion in local funding for new bicycle infrastructure.

E-bikes will be vital in micro-mobility and local transportation using cargo bikes and other small, flexible electric vehicles. It is an exciting future, and the E-bike Challenge (EBC) is ready to showcase the latest advancements.

Electrify Micro-mobility for cities

For the E-bike Challenge, the event in 2023 offers our exhibitors a chance to review their latest e-bikes as electric vehicle technology evolves.

For businesses and consumers alike, these significant developments are enormous opportunities to move forward and grow to a central platform to meet and learn from each other. They are moving forward with electrifying micro-mobility for cities and their inhabitants using e-bikes, e-trikes, and electric cargo bikes.

Meet B2B

The Business-to-Business event will occur on Friday before E-bike Challenge and is not open to the public. We will invite corporate leaders, government departments, resort owners, and retailers (bike and outdoor shops) looking for new bike brands and other outdoor products.

In a meet and greet atmosphere, those attending can visit with manufacturers exhibiting at a standing table. Or attend presentations and network with other attendees.

Consumers test ride e-bikes

E-bikes were once considered a form of transportation for those not fit enough to ride a bicycle. But nowadays, the pedal assist bicycle is much more versatile. The E-bikes are an appealing means to reach both personal and community goals by:

  • Making cities livable again
  • Going on a bike ride and having fun with the whole family
  • And by staying active and improving one's health and well-being.

E-bike Challenge reaches out to people who may need a bicycle but are uncomfortable visiting a bike shop. We invite them to see and compare the hundreds of e-bike models available and take a trial ride on the EBC's mammoth indoor test track.

Outdoor Fun

According to a recent survey, 74% of the attendees use a bike for outdoor leisure. Travel and outdoor activities are fun, entertaining, inspiring, and adventurous. Considering an e-bike is one thing. Seeing and hearing everything you can do with an e-bike, makes it irresistible to buy one.

Experienced cyclists also will find plenty of appeal in discovering fun destinations in the Travel and Living Green court areas. And of course testing the newest e-bike models
